Located to the northeast of Nashville-Davidson County. Wilson County is home to Mt Juliet, one of the fastest-growing suburbs of Nashville. Known for its proximity to the Nashville International Airport and downtown Nashville, Mt Juliet is fast becoming a major business area, with highly rated schools and moderately priced housing.

Several miles to the east of Mt Juliet is Lebanon, the County seat. Lebanon has retained its historic small-town charm, while growing at a slower pace than some other areas. The residents of Lebanon enjoy access to Percy Priest Lake, and other recreational opportunities.
